who are we?
Hey👋
At Kate and Mike's Travels our blog is entirely made up of just us two. Everything you see here is our own design, writing and photos (with the occasional stock). We started travelling full time in 2023 with our converted Mercedes Sprinter Van and have since been loving the fast paced life of backpacking.
Our travel blog is based on providing useful information to help others at every stage of their trip. Whether they're planning a year in advance or looking for something to do where they are, we aim to share our own experience in the countries we've visited. As our blog develops we've lent into what we love which is adventure travel, we want to expand our comfort zones as well as others!
We also want to incorporate our 'corporate' skills into our lives. Kate was a primary teacher and plans on volunteering in the future in schools around the world, while Mike will continue to code as we travel.
