How To Get To Salagdoong Beach And Slagdoong Beach Resort Siquijor?
The best way to get to Salagdoong beach is by scooter. If you’re travelling from San Juan it will take around 40 minutes. If the long drive isn’t for you stop off on the way, perhaps at Cambugahay Falls. You can rent scooters for around ₱300 a day and is a great budget option.
Renting scooters in Siquijor is easy. There are lots of vendors renting scooter at the port or you can wait till you get to San Juan. We arranged our scooter rental through are hostel meaning we didn't have to leave a deposit. (Tip: Don't leave anything valuable or money...especially don't leave your passport!)
The other way would be getting a trike or motorbike taxi. This would be expensive due to the long journey, however if budget isn’t a factor then you may choose to take a trike.
How Much Is The Entrance To Salagdoong Beach?
To park you pay ₱20 and per person the entrance fee is ₱50. You will see the stand next to the parking area.
Tip: Before going down the steep hill to the beach make sure you have everything you need as you don't want to be trekking back to your scooter in the heat. The hill is steep and a slog.

Top Things To Do On Siquijor
We stayed 5 nights on Siquijor and think this is the perfect amount of time to see everything the island has to offer. Here’s our highlights.
Top Pick: Cambugahay Falls
Visit early or don’t bother going, this is our top pick as it was so tranquil at 8am plus we saw an iguana!
Best Beach: Salagdoong Beach
An adventure beach with cliff jumps, snorkelling and crystal waters. Although a little drive away, we think it’s worth it.
Off The Beaten Track: Cantabon Cave
Our favourite cave tour of the Philippines and still a hidden gem on the island.

Top Tips For Travelling The Philippines
If you’re visiting the Philippines here are our top travel tips:
Book flights in advance - they can become expensive if you leave it last minute… oh and check your luggage allowance to skip expensive check in fees at the airport. Don't forget your Apple Airtags to track your bags
Agree on taxi prices upfront - when getting into a tuk-tuk, tricycle or taxi, make sure you agree on a price or they have a meter, so many tourists get ripped off with a huge price tag at the end of the ride.
Take it slow - don't feel the need to see all the islands, we recommend picking a few and doing them properly. See the island in full, find some locals and sing Karaoke..
Embrace the chaos and get stuck in, the locals are friendly and love to help and share information about their home!

Final Thoughts On Salagdoong Beach
Although Salagdoong beach is a long drive over to the east side of Siquijor. For us it's worth the hype. If you can handle a long day in the sun we recommend grouping a few attraction on the way such as Cambugahay Falls or Lacong Falls. You can go DIY Snorkelling, cliff jumping and relax on the white sand, all which make an amazing afternoon. We broke up the drive on the way back and grabbed something to eat. Overall, Salagdoong Beach Siquijor is a must visit place in our opinion.
