Local Recommendations of Where to Eat in London
Having lived in central London for my whole life (25 years) I've got to know some of the perhaps quieter less known, independent eateries in the city. To start this blog off I thought it would be nice to share my top London restaurant picks and their prices.
Lin's Restaurant and Bar
Located just behind the Tate Modern, Lin's is a great place if you craving Asian food. Although on the expensive side the food never disappoints and the restaurant is small and familiar.

Mc & Sons Public House and Thai Kitchen
Mc&Sons is a great atmosphere for the evening and they often have an Irish band playing on a Saturday. However, just before the rush you can grab some amazing Thai food. This really is a back street gem.

The Ship Southwark
A great pub in Southwark not far from The Globe Theatre. Within the pub is Reda's a snap shot of Lebanon. Try the savoury meze or other Lebanese dishes in a local pub in the heart of London.

An American style dive bar in Waterloo and Battersea. The Waterloo venue also have a batting cage for extra fun! With other games available and sports to watch this is a place full of things to do and yummy food.

Vapianos Tower Bridge
Although becoming a well known chain this restaurant offers a great view of the iconic Tower Bridge. Fresh pasta or pizza and a great view. What more could you ask for?

A recommendation from a friend. You will find Bistro Freddie's in Shoreditch. They serve classic British and French cuisine. The drinks focus on their curated French wine list
