Hin Kong Beach: Everything You Need To Know 2025
Hin Kong Beach on Koh Phangan is a long stretch of golden sand that runs parallel to the main tourist road, however the bay is often uncrowded and a perfect spot to explore the unique sandbank or watch the sunset.
Hin Kong Bay isn’t typically a swimming beach due to the shallow waters and strong low tide, however it’s perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking. The beachfront is lined with bungalows, resorts and some delicious cafes that focus on healthy, organic, and plant-based food.
At low tide, a sandbank is uncovered making it a perfect place to snap some photos and admire the picturesque landscape.
If you’re looking for a quiet and scenic base in Koh Phangan with easy access to the livelier parts of the island, Hin Kong Beach is a great choice. It’s close to Srithanu, which is known for yoga retreats and wellness centres, and just a short drive from Thong Sala for shopping and nightlife.
