How To Pay The Swedish Tolls As A UK Campervan With Epass24?
Epass24 is an online operator that allows you to pay any toll fees automatically. You register the number plate of your vehicle on their website and this is captured when you drive under a toll camera. To pay the toll they will send you an invoice at the end of the month. If you register with the company who processes ULEZ you can get your invoice emailed to you and your payment taken automatically (The website will prompt you to do this). We went with this option. Don’t forget to add your card to your online profile so you don’t miss paying the fee, meaning you won’t end up with any unexpected fine.
Can I Drive In Sweden With a UK License?
Yes, you can drive in Sweden with a UK License, you don’t need an international driver's permit. If you’re from the US your license is also valid. If you plan on spending over a year in Sweden you will need to get a Swedish driver’s license.

Campervan and Motorhome Parking in Sweden
In Sweden thanks to "Allemansrätten", the Right of Public Access, people have free access to the outdoors. Go by the mantra: "Do not disturb, do not destroy". There are endless park-ups in Sweden on P4N, many large and open with room for lots of vans. We travelled in the off season, October – November and even park ups with 1-2 spaces we found empty and free to use, this may not be the case in the high season.

Campervan and Motorhome Dump Stations and LPG
There are also plenty of motorhome dump stations. Most of these have waste disposal and freshwater. Some even have hoses so you don’t have to use your own, we also found free water at many petrol stations. Many park ups have bins and if not, there won’t be one far away. The services in Sweden for campervans are just amazing!
We filled up our LPG in Sweden without hassle, just check this handy website to find a station near you: LPG stations
Lengthy Drives and Dense Forest
Sweden is huge, vast was one of the words we kept using. From southern Sweden to the north it will take around 19 hours of driving. It is also wise to consider lots of places you will be parking in will be dense forest. This means your solar charge may be lower than your use to... also watch out for moose!

Top Tips For Travelling Sweden
If you’re visiting Sweden here are our top travel tips:
Book flights in advance - they can become expensive if you leave it last minute. Also don't forget Apple Airtags to track your luggage
Sweden is vast, take it slow - don't feel the need to see everything if you only have a short time. Instead spend the time you have discovering the beauty and culture of the area you’re in… plus then you have an excuse to come back.
Hire a car or motorhome - in our opinion this is the best way to really see Sweden.
Be prepared for changing weather - it can be sunny one minute and snowing the next so pack for a range of temperatures and remember “there’s no such thing as bad weather, just inadequate clothing.”
