Bokong Falls Sagada - A Small Waterfall With A Big Jump
Bokong Falls in the mountain province of Sagada is the perfect place to cool off after the steep Paytokan Walking Tour. A little waterfall with a deep pool we spent a good hour relaxing in the refreshing water and watching the locals jump off the rock above.
Situated amongst lush green rice terraces Bokong Falls isn’t far from the main road but feels secluded due to the landscape of pine trees all around. Bokong Falls is made up of a twin flow, two cascading falls meet at the bottom creating a deep pool allowing for people to jump from the rock 6 meters above. If jumping isn’t for you, you can relax in the pools below, just be aware it can get very slippery!

What To Expect From Bokong Falls, Sagada
Often a quiet waterfall, when we arrived we were the only people there, we were only joined by one other group during our time at the Falls.
The falls are not too cold and perfect for a refreshing dip but there are no amenities here, no toilets, stalls, or changing rooms, just you and nature. The pool is deep so only venture in if you’re a confident swimmer, however you could relax on the side and just dip your feet in.

If you’re going to attempt the 6m jump into the pool you’ll have to scramble over sharp rocks to reach the top of the falls and the area to jump from. You need to be extra careful here as it is a little sketchy, we only attempted the jump after watching a few locals first and then being shown where to go by our guide.
