Best Beaches Siargao Island
Alegria Beach Siargao
Perhaps one of the quietest beaches on Siargao when we visited, Alegria Beach boasts crystal clear blue water, white sand, tropical palm trees and shaded kubos for rent. Although not a surfing beach, you can cool off in the shallow waters and relax on the hot sands while admiring the Filipino coastline, perfect for a quiet day on the north of the island. This is our favourite swimming beach in Siargao. Location 📌
Secret Beach Siargao (Guiwan Beach)
A short 15 minute drive from the bustling hub of General Luna brings you to Secret Beach on the south coast of Siargao. Due to the close proximity from the busiest area of the island, this beach is not so secret and you can expect other tourists to find their way there too, best visited mid-tide due to shallow water at low tide but little beach at high tide. Secret Beach is also a popular surf break for beginners! Location 📌
Just next door to the famous Magpupungko Tidal and Rock Pools is an empty white sand beach lined with coconut trees, bars and restaurants. With most people clustering the rock pools you will most likely have the beach to yourself! We recommend visiting the pools at high tide, cliff jump, bathe and explore the wildlife, then once you’re done head over to the beach. Location 📌
Doot Beach Siargao
With shallow waters and not much sand, this isn’t Siargao’s best beach in our opinion, however it’s worth the visit, grab a towel and sit under the palm trees that line the shore. You can also hire a kayak and explore the nearby mangroves by boat, a perfect way to spend the morning relaxing. Visit at high tide for the best experience. Location 📌
Get driven around the island on a Siargao Land Tour, a local will take you to all of the hot spots!
Pacifico Beach Siargao
Siargao is known as the surfing capital of the Philippines and the town of Pacifico in the north of the island embodies that message perfectly. As soon as you pull into the town you will be greeted by a row of scooters parked at Pacifico Beach and local surfers offering board rentals and lessons. With world-class waves for both beginners and intermediate level surfers, it’s a must-visit beach on your trip. Crystal clear blue water, white sand, picture perfect palm trees and incredible vibes, Pacifico Beach has it all! Location 📌
General Luna Beach
General Luna is by far the busiest place on Siargao and the most popular hub for tourism, however the beach doesn’t receive much attention. Although it’s definitely not the best beach to swim at, there are some nice beach clubs along the front with bed chairs and pools. If you’re looking for something local near your hotel in General Luna then this is it, perfect for not having to ride a scooter or hire a driver to get to, we recommend visiting at high tide. Location 📌
If you don't drive a scooter, then this Budget Land Tour is a perfect way to explore the island
Famous for the best waves on the island, Cloud 9 beach is why Siargao is called the surfing capital of the Philippines! The boardwalk sticks out into the ocean, giving spectators a great view of the professionals riding waves and doing tricks. The beach is lined with bars and restaurants and is a great spot for sunset, you can also rent a board or get surfing lessons along the beach, what an amazing place to learn! Location 📌

Siargao Boat Trip Best Beaches
Corregidor Island Beaches
Yet another picture perfect beach, Corregidor Island can be visited as part of the Naked, Daku & Guyam Island Hopping Tour however can also be done on its own. This island is much bigger than the others, with pebble beaches and white sand beaches; as with the other islands on the tour, the surrounding waters are rich with sea life and the ocean crystal clear. Location 📌
Kawhagan Island Sandbar
Located off of the west coast of Siargao, Kawhagan Beach is part of the day trips to Sugba Lagoon, a vibrant blue water lagoon surrounded by pristine mangrove forest. You’ll most likely visit Kawhagan Sandbar at low tide, allowing you to walk along it and hang out in the shallows. Location 📌
The views from the Island Hopping Tour are insane!
Naked Island
Another sandbar and an absolutely epic beach! Naked island is commonly part of the boat trips to Naked, Daku & Guyam, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs, you can snorkel, relax and swim in the crystal clear blue water. Location 📌

Paradise on earth! This stunning island is filled with picture perfect palm trees and the most beautiful clear water you’ll ever come across, the captain of the boat trip usually gives tourists a couple of hours to explore Daku Island which is more than enough. Location 📌
Guyam Island Beach
The final stop on the Naked, Daku & Guyam Island Hopping Tour and by this point you’ll have probably had enough sun for the day, but you can never have enough of these beautiful beaches. A small island in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by a reef with a small coconut forest in the middle, it's as if this was part of a movie set! Location 📌

Below we share some recommend places to stay in General Luna, Siargao:
Where We Stayed In General Luna
We chose the budget option of Dream Catcher Nipas when staying in General Luna mainly due to the kitchen which allowed us to cook our own breakfasts and lunches. These are very basic triangular huts which have mattresses on the floor so don't expect anything fancy, but the location is perfect for General Luna and the grounds are lovely.
